Vineyard Vines Event

Last night was so much fun because I went to a Vineyard Vines party at the brand new Vineyard Vines in Chicago! The party was an absolute blast! The store was super crowded and chaotic when I first arrived, but as the night wore on it calmed down. They had a ton of employees dressed in their Vineyard Vines apparel (not that they regularly aren't) and they had live music which was fun too! Also they were giving away the cutest whale hats! I managed to snag three! They also had an open bar and tons of snacks. I enjoyed San Pellegrino and whale cookies the whole night! The shopping was fun too! All of the employees are so sweet and helped you find anything that you need! And 10% of all sales went to charity #bonus! But wait, there's more! With every $25 purchase you received a free gift card! I haven't figured out how much the gift card is worth, but still it's so fun!

Here are some snapshots from my super fun night! It was such a great time and I had so much fun! At first my parents really did not want to take me, but then they agreed to go if I drove, so I did! I have my permit, but I had never driven on the highway before, but it was not as scary as it seemed! Anyways, here are the pictures!

By the way, not my best night for pictures I look super bad in all of them!

Meeting Shep & Ian #foundersofVV!

Is it Christmas yet?

I don't know about you, but I have seen a lot of Christmas stuff hitting stores and online as well. Pinterest is overflowing with holiday cheer and I'm not sure I'm ready! I think I need to get past Thanksgiving before I really get into the Christmas spirit, but that didn't stop me from creating a Holly Jolly Christmas board.

I'm still in fall mode, but it's feeling more like winter as each day passes. On Monday, it was snowing! It was wild snow too! I really just hate fall and winter, gasp I know. I think that fall everything turns ugly to me, but I do enjoy early October when everything is pretty and orange and red. But, as fall continues into November and December, I just don't like the cold. And for some reason my life seems to be boring at these points and in the spring my life brightens up and is great!

I don't know, but still, although I don't like winter, I still do love Christmas. Here's a little peek at my Christmas Pinterest board and be sure to follow it for more holiday related pins!

Fall Playlist

I have been listening to more and more music as the school year drags on and I need some study and homework tunes. I don't really have a specific style of music that I like, but I usually just catch on to some of the music trends, but also find some of my own kind of music.

I have been loving Lorde's new album. I know that everyone is obsessed with her, but she truly is exceptional. She's so talented it's hard to believe that she's only sixteen. I remember hearing Royals over the summer at dance camp, but her new album Pure Heroine is absolutely perfect.

The other random music I listen to is a compilation of music my dad listens to (he has the best taste in music) and other random tracks that I find. Here is my current playlist.

Leaves Finally Falling

I am again off school today, so I think I'll just be taking the day easy and relaxing. But last night I went to my cousin Carly's house for a Sunday night dinner. She was so excited to do a fall photoshoot, but failed to inform me of her ideas. So, I didn't have my camera or tripod on hand, but we made the best of it and just used my phone! The pictures actually turned out pretty great and I really love them!

Here's a look at our fall OOTD's. By the way, it ended up just basically being an artsy photoshoot, so that's really what we did ha ha.

I am obsessed with this last photo. The light is perfect!

Sunday Pinnings

I've bene pretty obsessed with Pinterest lately, pinning every little thing that I find. I always find myself on my phone during school pinning anything that catches my eye, or on my laptop later on when I'm looking for inspiration for blogging. Here are a few of my faves from recently.

I am obsessed with Sloane's bedroom. It is legit perf.

My sister and I are actually Kendall and Kylie.

I love knee highs! I just don't know if I can pull them off/how to style them.

These look so good! I've been having a major sweet tooth lately and these would definitely satisfy it!

Fitness Funk

I'm in a bit of a "fitness funk". Drill season is still going on, but after practice I don't feel like I got a good workout in. So I always say to myself that I'll go to the gym over the weekend. Yet, I never seem to get there. I'd rather take a workout class just because it keeps me motivated, but I haven't figured out which classes to take yet. Definitely give me suggestions of what workout things you like to do!

I also have been revisiting my Pinterest board Get Fit for inspiration on workouts. I think that my main issue is that I eat super unhealthy. Like it's actually so bad, but I almost have no self control. I think this needs to change, but gradually. It's definitely super hard to just cut out everything bad for you in your life, but if you do it little by little it pays off.

For me, I'm just trying to hit the gym more often even if it's just for a little bit of time over the weekends. I have practice every day so it's not like I get no workout, but I'm just never satisfied with that workout. But, here's a picture that gives me inspiration that keeps me motivated.

What does your fitness routine consist of?

Classy Parties

Ever since creating my Colorful Entertaining and Classy as F boards on Pinterest I've been in the mood to be invited/throw a super classy party. Just something about the glitter in the air and the sparkling champagne glasses (kiddie champagne works too) just is so perfect to me. I wish that I was a part of that luxurious Gossip Girl lifestyle where they actually do throw parties like that. Also, parties are just reasons to get all dressed up and fancy. And boy have I been admiring some adorable sequin/sparkle dresses recently.

Well, I know that I won't be invited to any parties like these just yet, but maybe in a few years. These are my inspirations and favorites.

P.S. I'm off school today so I'm ready to party!
